BHUJ PLANT
EICL came up with its new processing site in Bhuj, Gujarat under a fully owned subsidiary named Kaolin India Private Limited. This site produces china clay (Kaolin) in lump & powder form. The raw material undergoes different value addition processes to enhance its physical, optical and rheological properties.
The site commenced commercial production from May 2021 with current capacity of 36K MT per annum. This site is strategically located among the largest Kaolin producing regions & mineral reserves of Gujarat & Rajasthan. It currently supplies in western & northern regions in India to key industry segments like paints & coatings, paper, inks, ceramics etc.
We are set to expand the plant capacities further to 78K MT in order to cater diversified industry segments & customers.
